Intermediate or Senior Insolvency Accountant – Perth
We have an opportunity for a part or newly qualified CA / CPA or IPA to join the growing team of this leading insolvency advisory firm in their Perth office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with corporate insolvency experience who would like to further develop their career in this interesting and fast paced area of accounting. You will have the opportunity to manage your own ledger covering all areas of formal corporate insolvency including VAs, Liquidations, SBRs and Receiverships. Be part of an exciting, growing firm and receive mentoring and support from a highly experienced leadership team.
In this exciting role you will:
- Handle and manage your own portfolio of insolvency cases
- Carry out detailed financial analysis and investigations
- Develop your financial modelling skills
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including creditors and lawyers
- Delegate to junior staff and assist with their development
- Be responsible for timely and correct statutory requirements
- Have the opportunity to develop your business networking and client skills
To be considered for this role we are looking for motivated candidates with the following skills:
- Minimum 2 years' experience gained in corporate insolvency
- Part or Qualified CA or CPA (or near qualification)
- Excellent Excel ability; financial modelling skills
- Confident communication skills, both verbally and written
- Strong character and empathy; often dealing with stakeholders in distressed situations
- Keen to develop their career in this fascinating sector
- Ability to work under pressure
